What Is

THE
Soul-Body Paradox™?

Think of Your Soul and Your Body as a pair of complementary opposites:

The Soul

(rollover)
... is infinite, interconnected and certain.

The Soul, dissolving the expectations, stresses and pressures that do not serve you.

The Body

(rollover)
... while The Body is finite, separate and uncertain.

The heart and the mind serve as a grounding bridge, balancing the two.

"In my sessions, we practice re-establishing and strengthening that bridge. Using the Soul-Body Paradox ™ as a framework, you learn to trust the brilliance of your body and wisdom of your soul, releasing the expectations, stresses and pressures that do not serve you, while aligning with your own inherent truths."

The Soul is infinite, interconnected and certain, while The Body is finite, separate and uncertain. The heart and the mind serve as a grounding bridge, balancing the two. In my sessions and soulsway classes, we practice re-establishing and strengthening that bridge.

Using the Soul-Body Paradox as a framework, you learn to trust the brilliance of your body and wisdom of your soul, releasing the expectations, stresses and pressures that do not serve you, while aligning with your own inherent truths.

I created the Soul-Body Paradox™ as a metaphor—a framework for understanding how to factor in different parts of yourself to heal.

By looking at the mind, heart, body and soul as interdependent,

rather than separate, we get closer to knowing our whole selves, our true selves.

The Soul-Body Paradox
isn’t just a story
—it’s somatic
science.

Somatic psychology and therapies factor in both your mind and what’s below the neck. Frameworks like The Soul-Body Paradox factor in your internal sensations—recognizing that your emotions and your experiences do impact you physically, spiritually and mentally. It’s the art of turning inward and surveying yourself.

Somatic practices have tested,
proven benefits like:

... cultivating mindful body awareness.
... expanding your range of movement.
.... enhancing flexibility - physically, mentally, emotionally.
...increasing your natural curiosity & creativity.
...reduces stress and aids recovery by increasing vagal tone.
... strengthening your internal awareness and external expression.
... regulating your nervous system.
... fostering self influence.

I came up with the Soul-Body Paradox after a little soul-searching myself.

Misaligned. Off course. Unfulfilled. And I didn’t know what was wrong.

So, I got curious (and critical) about the shadow values in my work—the ways in which fitness spaces can often perpetuate unhealthy ideals, promote stereotypes and stoke insecurities. Once I identified all the holes, I went in search of what could fill them. So I invested everything I had in learning different trusted healing modalities, pursuing accreditations in coaching, somatics, hynosis, trauma, neurology, belonging, energy work and intuitive forms of movement to name a few. I ultimately began a life-long journey toward healing the divide between my work, my personal life and my sense of self. Now, I am committed to studying the mind, heart, body and soul—and sharing frameworks on how to live a life that gives each the weight, attention, space and connection they deserve - so we can live in ‘whole’ness, not ‘hole’ness.

The ways in which wellness spaces can often perpetuate unhealthy ideals.

Ultimately, through the Soul-Body Paradox™ framework, you will acknowledge, challenge and celebrate different parts of yourself—and your story—to heal, grow and transform.

You can use the Soul-Body Paradox™ as a way to identify where you’re out of alignment—when something might be working for your mind and not your body or ultimately your soul’s purpose. When your schedule might support your family, but not your self-care. When your work might support your finances, but not your true ambition. When your body might carry you physically, but not emotionally or sensually. It’s a way to identify, explore, discover and align your desires, your needs and yourself.
